Dolores M. Macias, President
Dolores M. Macias is President and owner of Macias and Associates, L.P. for over 28 years. Ms. Macias’ experience in the Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Business Operations and Human Resource Departments has been instrumental in the success of the firm. She oversees all contracts, certifications, and financials of the company, which includes project budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax reports. Her duties also include the preparation of our Statement of Qualifications, updating the firm’s Best Business Practices and Procedures, and the negotiations for Medical, General Liability, Worker's Compensation and Professional Insurances.
Carmelo L. Macias, RPLS, Vice-President
Carmelo L. Macias (No. 4333) is the Vice President of Macias and Associates, L.P. and has more than 41 years of Land Surveying experience. Mr. Macias is responsible for Project Management and Quality Control of all projects in the company and has extensive management experience in the preparation of Land Surveying documents, Platting, Aerial Photogrammetry Mapping, Global Positioning System surveys, and Sub-Surface Utility locating. Over the last 41 years, Mr. Macias has provided Project Management on over 6,000 projects to include: Boundary, Topographic, Route, Site, Highways, Roadways, Infrastructure, Utilities, Aerial Mapping, Sub-Surface Utility locating, and Bathymetric surveys. As Vice-President, he has been active in both the field and office, marketing, and business operations, and has always given his undivided attention to client satisfaction. Mr. Macias’ attention to quality and professionalism has garnered the trust of many municipal and private clients from all over the country.
Carlo Gino Macias, PHR, HR Manager/Business Development Officer
Gino Macias has over 20 years of business/client service to include 13 years with Macias & Associates and 10 years in the Healthcare industry. Prior to joining Macias & Associates, Mr. Macias had positions with the Methodist Healthcare System and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System in San Antonio, Texas, as well as, Memorial Hermann Health Systems in Houston, Texas. In his current role with Macias & Associates, Mr. Macias' responsibilities include Human Resource Management, Employee Relations, Wage and Compliance, Training, Safety, Contract Management, as well as, Business Development and Marketing roles for the company. Mr. Macias' experience in Administrative Management, Budgeting and Project Financing also gives him a unique understanding of both public and private projects. He has provided Business Management on millions of dollars worth of projects including the $1.4 billion State Highway 130 Toll project. Mr. Macias graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing and is a certified Professional in Human Resources.
Bob Cortinez, Production Manager/Chief Estimator
Bob Cortinez is the Production Manager and Chief Estimator for all construction projects for Macias & Associates, L.P., has more than 35 years of professional Land Surveying experience. Mr. Cortinez has management experience in the preparation of land surveying documents, database management, field personnel, and field communications. His area of expertise is land surveying, topographic mapping, global positioning systems, and construction layout surveys for all construction projects. His professional profile includes Project Management, Land Surveying, Right-of-Way Engineering Management, Construction Management, Organization and Coordination of all Field Crews, Contract Negotiations and Administration, Business Development, Quality Management and Quality Control. Mr. Cortinez was also instrumental in the success of the SH 130 project in Managing and Mobilizing over 15 Technicians and over 8 Field Crews.
